At the High School level, teams will compete in the month of November at the top tournaments along with a handful of practices.  The winter months will offer team training sessions leading into the high school season.  As the summer months kickoff, practices will be scheduled to enhance individual skills and development as teams will head into one of the most competitive summer schedules compiled.

The Maryland Roughrider Youth teams can expect nothing but the best in coaching, fundamental-based practices, training sessions, and ample amount of field time throughout the entire year. Teams will practice in the fall months of 2021 and compete in a number of the top tournaments. As the winter of 2021/2022 gets underway, players will have the opportunity to participate in winter indoor skill sessions and spring leagues throughout the area and will be guided through player development, positional training, and other workouts. The season will finish with three to four summer tournaments along the East Coast. The Roughrider lacrosse club is providing a full commitment curriculum come Spring time to meet the needs of the players and maximize their development both individually and as a team.

A HEALTHY, FUN, COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT
The Roughrider Program is known for its FUN! Yes, we have a certain philosophy about winning, but just as important is the camaraderie that is developed among players, parents and coaches. Our players and parents have a long history of making the Roughrider tailgates the best which in turn helps build team chemistry on and off the field among everyone who is involved with the program.  It is truly one of the things that set the Roughrider program apart from others.

TOURNAMENTS
Fall 2021 will consist of 2-3 tournaments for the Youth and 3-4 for HS teams. Tournaments are chosen by competitive level and availability. The youth teams will also participate in a Spring League, with indoor winter leagues and training available. Each team will compete in 4 or 5 tournaments in the Summer of 2022, with 3-4 in the Greater Baltimore Area, and 1-2 away tournaments.
